For one contestant in the Big Brother tv reality show in the Phillippines the events of last few days were quite stressful. A few days ago he was nominated by Big Brother for eviction. Last night, however, he received a special gift from Big Brother – he got a chance to spend with his wife 100 seconds; she was celebrating her birthday.
However, immediately uppon seeing her husband, the wife critisized him for forgetting her birthday. It happened during his confession a few days ago when he gave a wrong date for his wife´s birthday.
Nevertheless, she was just much too happy to see him after such a long time that she did not make an issue of that. During his entire stay in the house lasting 81 days they had only a long-distance, no communication relation. Naturally, after such a long period, she immediately embraced her husband and cried with joy. He, on his part, did not match her feelings and seemed to be somewhat akward and shy. He may have been too confounded upon seeing his true love.
But they had just those 100 seconds to see eatch other. The husband gave his wife for her birthday flowers and three necklaces which he himself designed. She wished him strength and courage in order to stay further in the House.
After his wife had left, the husband wept. During his subsequent confession he admitted that he had not expected to have such an opportunity to see his wife in the House. He belatedly regretted that he had not been able to tell his wife what he had intended to.
When asked by Big Brother why he had not kiss his wife, he replied that he had been too overwhelmed and excited to act rationally
In addition to the birthday gift from her husband, the wife also got a kitchen showcase from Whirlpool.

Big Brother surprisingly suspended nominations on November 13 on account of a serious violation committed by one of the contestants.
The preceding night the accused man was caught mouthing words to a fellow housemate. This was considered a violation of the basic rule of Big Brother – that contestants have to wear their radio microphones all the time; and any attempt at covering microphones or communicating by writing or mouthing is prohibited. Big Brother staff consulted the owner of the Big Brother franchise in order how to resolve the incident.
It was not the first break of rules in the Big Brother house by the same man. On October 16 he wrote a secret message to his best friend and was thus nominated by Big Brother. He was warned that in case of any future violation of rules in the house, he would be evicted.
A representative of the owner of the franchise decided that Big Brother Philippines must obey the rules of Big Brother and evict the said man from the program.
The woman to who the accused mouthed his words was called to the confession room where she offered voluntarily to exit from the house in order to safe the accused man. In view of her intended sacrifice, Big Brother ruled to let public viewers decide who should leave and who should stay in the House.
After the vote of the public, the decision will be announced on November 19 during the Big Brother primetime show. The fate of these two housemates are in the hands of viewers.

The extraordinarily successful Big Brother reality show transcribes world records not only in the field of tv ratings. The German fifth series was recorded in the Guinness Book of Records as the longest uninterrupted tv broadcast in history. The German prepaid channel Premiere televised Big Brother uninterruptedly from March 2 2004 until March 1 2005 for incredible time of 8763 hours.
The record until then was held by Swiss tv Suisse 4 which in 1996 televised Olympic Games from Atlanta for 16 days, 22 hours and 45 minutes.
The sixth series is now on in Germany and officials of the Guinnes Book of Records are finding out whether a total time of the fifth and sixth series, which followed each other, could be considered a record. Big Brother reality show has another four records. On November 17 2000 a group of Belgian contestants consumed a total of 335 beans in tomato sauce during 2 minutes. Only three days prior to that, contestant Gleen in the same series build a tower from sugar cubes to a height of 1,02 meter. Contestant Patrik Ström in Sweden threw at Carl Fredrik Knutsen six cakes filled with custard cream during one minute. British contestant Paul Ferguson ate with an ordinary wooden toothpick 185 cornflakes during only three minutes

Later the attacker claimed that it had been only a joke! But since it had been already the third time he acted aggressively, he had to go.

In another series of American Big Brother the contestants were suprised when they found out they would have in the House their former partners. Thus some had to live with those about who they thought that they had disappered from their lives for good. All the participants were shocked and had to rethink their strategy.
7. Internet Failedl!
An attempt of 200000 visits at the same time caused the collapse of the Hungarian Big Brother internet pages just after the first five minutes. In total, these web pages registered one million of visits.during the first eleven hours.

Cage, who is divorcing Lisa.Marie Presly after a three-month marriage, is now dating Italian bank clerk Eleonor Daniele. She has become famous by taking off her clothes in the Italian version of Big Brother tv show.
The pair met at celebration of the actor´s 39th birtday in Rome at the start of January; later they were seen in the Kwetum luxurious club. One of their friends says: „They were very close. We do not think that this format is used rather by television stations that are not leaders in the market. In many states Big Brother has appeared at the stations with the highest ratings in the market; for inst. Spain – Telecinco, Italy – Canale 5, Hungary – TV2, USA – CBS, or Brazil – GLOBO TV. The Croatian market is specific by a dominant standing of its public tv HRT, while public/commercial tv is missing in the market. RTL started its broadcasts as of April 2004 and immediately became tv with the highest viewers´ rating. In September 2004 it introduced the first series of Big Brother. The second series will be televised in fall of 2005.
